Your dictionary will be a great way for you to keep track of new words that you learn! Once you become more comfortable with your dictionary, you can add words that you hear or read in your classes, at home or out in public.
On each page, you must have the following information:
• the word at the top of the page
• the sentence in which you heard or read the word
• what you think the word means (guess)
• the definition of the word in your own words
• your own original sentence using the word
• a picture that explains the word--a drawing, a word wheel, a word web or a word star, etc.
